FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q. What will it cost to create/redo my website?
A. The cost of a website can depend on many factors, such as:
- How many pages you want your site to be
- Whether it will be static or dynamic
- Whether you provide content ready to go or need us to create it from scratch
- Whether you need professional photography or graphics, plan to use stock images, or will provide your own
Generally speaking, our sites run from $7,500 to $30,000.
Q. How long will it take to get my site up and running?
A. This can vary according to how much you have ready to go, and how many feedback cycles you'd like to have within each phase of the development: site structure, design, content production, coding. Some sites can come together in one month; some take six months. Once we know what you need, we can give you a clear estimate.
Q. Can I do some of the work myself to lower the costs?
A. Yes. We can work with you to determine what you'd like to do.
Q. What should I do about photos and graphics?
A. It's up to you. You can provide images, we can find stock images, or we can put you in touch with a professional photographer.
Q. Can you edit our existing content?
A. Yes, one of our specialties is writing and editing to make content more effective on the web.
Q. Will I be able to update my site by myself?
A. Yes. We will work with you to have the tools and knowledge you need to keep your site updated.
Q. What if I don't want to update my site myself?
A. We can provide maintenance as needed or, if you know you'll have regular or extensive needs, you can put us on a monthly retainer and pay a lower hourly rate.
Q. Where can I see some sites you've done?
A. Just take a look at our portfolio.
Q. How do I get started?
A. You can begin to plan your website by using our questionnaire. Or you can just send us an email.
